This stretch of the street was easier to identify because one of its buildings was seen in the award-winning film LA Confidential. The wonderful Art Deco structure on the right side of the photo was outfitted with a marquee for a small role in the film, and that definitely sealed the deal for many guessers of this week's Cornerspotter, but Gryphonisle was the first to pinpoint the location as well as its starring role. Today, it houses offices for the production company No. 13, which is probably why it has such a low-profile look.
