1969 Time Capsule Near Pas's Huntington Hotel Asking $7.1MM

New, 19 comments

Located just east of the Langham Huntington Hotel in southeast Pasadena, this 1969 modern was designed by Harold B. Zook, who began his architecture career in the mid-1940s working for Albert Frey and John Porter Clark in Palm Springs, and is still practicing today in Corona del Mar. Constructed largely from mahogany, glass, and bouquet canyon stone, the 8,314-square-foot residence features five bedrooms, seven baths, a "catering scale gourmet kitchen," vaulted, beamed ceilings, two fireplaces, built-in shelving and storage, a swimming pool with spa, a tennis court, "spectacular gardens," a potting shed, a four-car garage, and security gate. Occupying 1.56 acres, it's asking $7.095 million.
