X-Man James Marsden Buys Miraculously Recovered Mid-Century in Nichols Canyon

New, 20 comments

This Hollywood Hills house, once so sad and shabby, has really bounced back and is now looking good enough for celeb attention. Leading man James Marsden (X-Men, 30 Rock) has just snapped up the wonderful midcentury house, by prolific architect Edward Fickett, in the architecturally gifted Nichols Canyon neighborhood. Built in 1959, the post-and-beam-style house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, concrete-slab floors, walls of glass, a fully updated kitchen, and a swimming pool and fire pit in the backyard, with no rear neighbors. Marsden paid $1.8 million.
