The Ace Hotel's insanely lavish United Artists Theatre is open for a rare public tour (the first in decades!) this weekend, courtesy of the LA Historic Theater Foundation. The 10 am walk-through is already sold out, so the 1 pm tour is your last chance to see this Spanish-Gothic style theater on the heels of its full renovation. (If you can't make it, check back in soon for Curbed's full photographic tour.) The vaulted ceilings are covered in murals, the entryways are copies of the Catherdral in Segovia—the elaborateness of the 1927 theater will definitely blow your mind. [LAHTF]
