FINANCIAL DISTRICT: Gastropub City Tavern, a Culver City favorite, is about done with the build-out of their restaurant at the FIGat7th mall. There'll be lots of wood like in Culver City, but "a more innovative, relevant menu under the helm of chef de cuisine Randy Montoya and culinary director Jessica Christensen." Get your craft beer on February 4.
KOREATOWN: The Line, Ktown's trendy's new hotel, soft-opened this month, and while we're still waiting on two new restaurants from Roy Choi of Kogi and Chego!, a new bar opens on Monday. Pot Bar (hmm) will have classic bar drinks like Fuzzy Navels, as well as Ktown specials like arugula shoji.
BURBANK: After a hard day at the studios, settle down for some high-quality 'cue at The Pit Smoked BBQ, which opened last week on Alameda Avenue. The Texas-style joint features some Argentine elements like empanadas and chimichurri sauce. Opens at lunchtime and closes when the meat runs out.
