Plans are in motion to make Silver Lake's two-year-old Sunset Triangle Plaza—the former-street-turned-polka-dot-covered-pedestrian-space—a permanent public square. When Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell's motion is approved (which it probably will be), the plaza will be kept free of cars permanently, unless another one crashes into it. Here's hoping the plaza gets upgrades like a new paint job and more grass. [Eastsider LA, image by Elizabeth Daniels]
