Oddly Charming 1921 Fixer In Manhattan Beach Asking $1.2MM

New, 20 comments

Maybe we're getting soft, but there's something kind of cute about this two-story cottage just a few blocks from the beach. Perhaps it's the listing's urging that someone buy this 1921 house and give its two bedrooms and one bathroom some much-needed remodeling, as opposed to buying it for the land and razing it, as is frequently happening with other cottages in the beach town. Perhaps it's the interior's dedication to the color pistachio, or the striped garage with porthole windows. This house has character, that's for sure, and hopefully, someone will notice its unconventional charm. They're asking $1.175 million.
