Next week, you'll get a chance to bid on reality star/boutique owner Kourtney Kardashian and (Curbed Commenter, we guess?) Scott Disick's four-bedroom, five-bathroom optical illusion in celeb-filled Calabasas. The couple bought what was once a noticeably boring house back in 2010 for $1.7 million, and Kourtney and her designer took immediately to making it, as she told Domaine, "Alice in Wonderland meets Beetlejuice." We don't know why anyone would want to live in a Venn Diagram of those movies, but success, Kourtney! It combines the slightly macabre atmosphere of early Tim Burton with the nonsensical fantasy of Lewis Carroll. In her defense, she intended to take risks with this decor, saying that at first, she wanted everything very minimal but then, "I started saying, 'I'm too young. This is my first house: I want to have fun!" The decorating was a big personal project, but now that it's done, she's ready to move on to a new blank canvas of a house. They're planning to list the place next week. Meanwhile, her sister Khloe's much beiger house is also up for sale.
