LAPD Danger Watch

This just in from Mayor Garcetti's office: "At approximately 12:20pm, a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle in which Mayor Garcetti was a passenger struck a pedestrian in Downtown Los Angeles. The vehicle was heading eastbound on 2nd Street near Spring Street. Mayor Garcetti was on the phone and did not witness the incident. He has since been interviewed by LAPD investigators. LAPD officers immediately responded to the scene and the pedestrian was transported by the Los Angeles Fire Department to a hospital." [Curbed Inbox]
