Completely Rebuilt 1935 House In Norma Triangle Asks $1.9MM

New, 35 comments

Poor Norma Triangle house. Built in 1935, it's yo-yoed on and off the market since 2008 and even its total rebuild in 2010 couldn't move it. But after a two-year hiatus, it's back! There's precious little left of the original house, but what is there is 2,300 square feet with three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, plus the possibility of turning what appears to be an indoor barbecue room into a 325-square-foot guest house. It also has 16-foot ceilings in the living room, privacy windows with electronic touch dimmers, a library, and screening room with bar and fireplace and, oddly, a couch that does not face the screen. Outdoor space includes a large deck that extends from the main house to the roof of the guest/barbecue building. And while most master suites are billed as serene or spacious, this one is "exciting," thanks probably to the steam spa with room for four. Back in 2010 it was asking $2.1 million but the price is now down to $1.895 million.
