Boy, you would not think a 282-foot-long railway could be so dangerous. Downtown funicular Angels Flight derailed today "and was left tilting on the rail platform," although no one was injured. The railway killed one and injured seven in 2001 and has been closed for long periods since for mechanical and other problems. [LAT]
