See the Giant New Imax Screen Going Up at the Chinese Theatre

The legendary Chinese Theatre will reopen soon following its first major makeover since it opened in 1927; it's being converted into one of the biggest Imax theaters in the world and the enormous, 94-foot-wide screen has now been raised into place. Behold how that process goes. The theater will reopen on September 15 with the world premiere of the Imax 3D release of The Wizard of Oz--those flying monkeys are gonna be so huge and comin' right for ya.
