That little scamp Miley Cyrus is a real troublemaker, twerking on bears, getting tattoos on the bottom of her feet, playing Dennis the Menace to Steve Carrell's Mr. Wilson. When Cyrus turned 18, she moved out of her family house in Toluca Lake, all the way up to the Studio City hills, to a house "with lots of glass and cool furniture and an aquarium in the fireplace." But after a crazy fan jumped her fence, she moved back home and sent her parents to live down the street (although she refuses to sleep in the master bedroom: "That's my parents' room!"). The new/old house happens to be next door to Bob Hope's long-time estate, which just hit the market, as well as several other celebrity homes. Here's Miley on the Toluca Lake scene, as told to Rolling Stone:
Miley never met [ Hope], but she did meet his widow, who lived there until she passed away in 2011. "Miss Dolores," Miley says. "She was party-rocking till the end! Sometimes I'd walk by and see all these people in there dressed up like old-time flappers. I was like, 'Is this real – or are you guys all ghosts?'" Her neighbors now are a little more contemporary. "Diddy's baby mama lives right there," Miley says, pointing over the fence behind her pool. And down the street is Steve Carell, who has two preteen kids and doesn't sound like the biggest Miley fan. "He always gives me the stank-eye because I drive so fast," Miley says. "The other day I was trying to reverse and I almost hit a thousand things, and I was getting nervous because I could see him going" – she crosses her arms and lets out a big, annoyed sigh. "I'm like, oh, my God, Dan in Real Life is watching me right now!"
Dan in Real Life is the role she went with there?
