The Santa Monica City Council gathered yesterday and set aside $32,135 to study just how anti-density its residents actually are. The money will pay for a study of tall developments and whether people hate height or actually don't mind it so much. The impetus came from residents who oppose high-rise hotels, like the proposed Frank Gehry project, and claim that the majority of residents also oppose such developments. [Lookout]
