DOWNTOWN: Eater has dug up some info on one of the forthcoming restaurants inside the forthcoming Ace hotel on Broadway. The Ace is supposed to open before the end of the year and, according to a now-deleted Craigslist posting, an eatery called LA Chapter plans to open in the hotel in December.
DOWNTOWN: Over on Main Street, Sushi Zo has opened inside the Medallion apartments. The restaurant is omakase-only, meaning the chef decides what you eat. Word is it's good, and it should be: it's $150 a person--without booze.
ALL OVER: As if it weren't awesome enough that tomorrow's Friday, today is the start of LA Beer Week. The celebration of local and regional craft breweries features specials at restaurants, bars, and brewpubs, from the Valley to the Southbay and the Eastside to Santa Monica.
