The Hasidic Jewish community of Hancock Park didn't take too kindly to a new billboard for the HBO show Eastbound & Down. Locals were offended by the image of a fully-dressed man hurling hundred dollar bills in the air while two women in bikinis stood behind him--maybe it was the breasts, maybe it was the banality--and pleaded with CBS Outdoor to take it down, which they promptly did. Other folks had similar success getting a dumb billboard near Pico/Robertson taken down. [Jewish Journal]
