Miguel Lopez is a ghost hunter and LAPD detective who gets "a fair bit of razzing from his police officer buddies." He's investigated more than 40 hauntings, including "the strange happenings at the temporary field office of Los Angeles city councilman Jose Huizar. As soon as they moved in, some staff members began hearing strange knocking noises, bells ringing, and the fire alarm system going off."
