Twice Updated A. Quincy Jones In Brentwood's Crestwood Hills

New, 16 comments

This mid-century home in Brentwood has architectural pedigree up the posterior. Built in 1950 in Crestwood Hills, the house was designed by duo A. Quincy Jones and Whitney Smith and went through two expansions in 1993 and 2004 by local architect Steven Ehrlich. The three-bedroom, three-bath includes a large deck, a saltwater pool and outdoor chef's kitchen. The ground level has the mid-century features we've come to know and love – floor to ceiling walls of glass, post and beam ceilings, great indoor/outdoor flow. But if this home was part of the original Mutual Homes Association tract, it has been renovated out of recognizable existence. A second floor for the master suite includes two walk-in closets, a steam shower and an outdoor patio. Last sold in 2004 for $1.992 million, it's now listed at $2.499 million. --Marissa Gluck
