A Northridge neighborhood council is expected to vote tonight to recommend a plan that will help create a Northridge business district over the coming decades. The Northridge Vision Concept Plan includes items like "visual cues help drivers recognize that they are entering an area of increased pedestrian, bicycle or other non-motorized activity, gateway treatments that are typically signs or monuments," broad sidewalks, street furniture, and "Transportation Art."
