LA Twitterers Have a Pretty Good Idea What 'Hood They're In

New, 77 comments

Over at Maptitude, they've sprung a little test on LA-area Twitterers--using the software at Luminous Cities, they mapped the area's geotagged tweets and colored them according to neighborhood mentioned in the tweet. Maptitude says "you can see how residents see the boundaries of their neighborhoods," but we prefer to see it in reverse: neighborhood boundaries are absolute and unyielding, so are these Twitterers correct or hopelessly wrong? Generally correct! Good job, guys.
