Standard and Poor's is out with their home-price-tracking Case-Shiller Index for June, and the numbers back up the general theory of a still-hot-but-cooling real estate frenzy. (pdf) LA house prices were still trending upward, but less quickly than in the months prior--2.2 percent in June, compared to 2.6 in May and 3.4 in April.
