LA County wants to demolish an abandoned private school in Culver City's Blair Hills and build the Stoneview Nature Center, with a 4,000-square-foot building, observation area, yoga deck, several gardens, exercise area, and a trail on five acres of land (plus of course a parking lot). Sounds good, except that "the Culver City Council has officially voiced their strong objections to and concerns about the project," saying among other things that they don't like that the county is controlling the project.
