UCLA's released results from its annual campus commuting study and it's pretty impressive: For the first time in the school's history, more students are commuting to the campus by foot than by car; only 51 percent of employees drive alone to work (compared to 70-plus percent in LA County), and the number of car trips in and out of the campus is lower now than it was in 1990. Just wait till the subway arrives. [UCLA Newsroom]
