Steven Showers, the guy who put up a 14-foot-tall neon sign in his yard calling out Mitt Romney as racist, went back to jail over the matter last Friday "after once again turning on his giant neon anti-Romney sign against court orders." While he was in the clink, "the authorities came with a crane and took away his sign, his emergency lights — everything electrified." Cruelly, according to Showers, they left the California Constitution shields declaring the right to free speech; meanwhile, he's replaced the neon sign with a lighthouse. [New York, image via]
