Hollywood's Newest Mixed-User Has Interesting Color Palette

New, 97 comments

It didn't turn out to be a Whole Foods (as was once proposed), but at least something is filling up one of East Hollywood's empty lots: in this case, a mixed-user for seniors on Hollywood Boulevard. Metro at Hollywood opened early this year, with 120 apartments over 6,000 square feet of retail (none of which is currently leased). The building's color, courtesy of local firm PSL Architects, is certainly distinctive; still, this has got to be an improvement over the empty lot that once occupied this space, a few blocks west of Western Avenue.
