Have you noticed that all the twentysomethings you know, who obviously are very active in the real estate market, are skipping the starter homes and just moving right in to $1-million-plus places? Somehow the Wall Street Journal has. These rich kids (often assisted by their parents--Ritz-Carlton condos as USC graduation gifts!) are freaked out by the stock market and think real estate is a far safer investment--best of luck with that, kiddos, although we think you'll be just fine either way.
