There's apparently a whole swath of houses in Atwater Village that smell terrible--a 1929 sewer line is funneling "odors and fumes" into about 113 houses. Now the Bureau of Sanitation is about to put in "traps on the sewer connections to prevent the smelly odors from traveling through the houses and out vents on the roofs.
