NMS@Lincoln, the Killefer Flammang-designed rental building at Lincoln and Broadway in Santa Monica, officially opened last month and it's already a big (little?) hit. Like its sister property next door, NMS@Broadway, Lincoln's 97 mini-apartments (in five stories) are all filled up and, from what developer NMS is saying, those 350-square-foot units are filled with the West Coast versions of the Girls cast: "We believe the millennials, particularly, will provide a ready market for the foreseeable future," NMS president John Anderson says in a statement. "Not only do they enjoy the economics and efficiency of the units, but they are also turned on by the project's ground floor retail, which serves as an attractive gathering place for both residents and neighbors." There's 7,600 square feet of retail--with an already-bumpin' Starbucks--and a 4,900-square-foot courtyard in which tenants can see and be seen.
