Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 831, the Silver Lake complex was designed between 1938 and 1941 as Schindler's version of a Greek hillside village. Per the ad, the available unit features two bedrooms, two baths, "designer appliances," built-ins, "soffit lighting," and garage parking/storage. Tenants also get "access to lovely empty lot next door, picnic area, gardening plot (Welcome to start chicken coop / bee hive!)" Monthly rent is as steep as the hillside: $2,950.
