The hop on/hop off tourist bus Starline Tours launched expanded Santa Monica service yesterday, linking LAX, downtown Santa Monica hotels, and other points of interest. "Seventy percent of Santa Monica hotel visitors never use a car while they are here and we are continually working to increase visitor spending while reducing impact to the local community," according to the Convention & Visitors Bureau president. The new routes will allow tourists "to access and explore Santa Monica car-free." [Santa Monica Daily Press]
