Look what's back: after failing to sell in 2009 and in 2010, the Wolff House by the completely wonderful John Lautner has re-hit the market above the Sunset Strip. The house was built in 1961 from "wood, stone and glass," and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a living room with "nearly 16 foot ceilings with walls of glass," a pool and pavilion, plus a guesthouse with three bedrooms and office. It's a state landmark and qualifies for Mills Act tax breaks. Oh, also it's been owned by actor/creep Vincent Gallo and prolific modern house collector Michael LaFetra. A few years back it was asking $5.895 million and has now been priceupped to $7.995 million.
