Lloyd Wright Studio and Residence Back With $1MM Price Jump

New, 19 comments

Owned by video and commercial director Joe Pytka (whose body of work includes the famous "This is Your Brain on Drugs" PSA), the Lloyd Wright Studio and Residence has popped on and off the market* sporadically over the past few years without finding a buyer, but conditions are certainly more in its favor this time around. Built in 1927, the two-story structure's design incorporates precast concrete blocks with an interlocking pattern of stylized Joshua trees. Restored by Lloyd Wright's son (and Frank's grandson), Eric, the 2,413-square-foot structure is now listed at $2.5 million, a million simoleans over its 2009 asking price.
*And apparently, it has been yoinked off the market once again. Sorry if anyone got their hopes up!
