Koreatown's The Vermont Tops Off Its Twin Towers Next Week

New, 84 comments

Koreatown's mammoth mixed-user The Vermont tops off its highest floors during a ceremony on Thursday, its developer has announced. The 464-unit project from JH Snyder features 23- and 29-story towers, as well as 40,000 square feet of retail (including a grocery store), and parking up the wazoo. Other amenities: a quarter-acre central courtyard and a sky lobby on the seventh floor. The LEED-certified project, across from the Red and Purple Lines (DTLA, Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire, and eventually Westwood, will be a one-seat subway ride away), opens in mid-2014.
