When this super one-bedroom condo in the historic El Cabrillo courtyard complex hit the market last month, there were "oohs" and "ahhs" and a fair number of "oh, hell nos," because the unit just north of Franklin in Hollywood came without parking. That turned out not to be much of a sticking point; listed for $389,000, a sale was pending one week later and closed earlier this month, for $430,000. El Cabrillo, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1928 for Cecil B. DeMille by Arthur and Nina Zwebell. This two-story unit has beamed ceilings, a fireplace, coved doorways, hardwood floors, a patio, and relative proximity to the Red Line, which may come in handy.
