ELYSIAN VALLEY: With the LA River back in business--at least for the summer, at least for a few activities--KCET's Departures asked a variety of Angelenos what kind of action they'd like to see in the Elysian Valley area surrounding the river (a huge coalition of groups is working on that very question right now). THE INTERNET: Ooh, get excited, zoning nerds: still-Mayor Villaraigosa is set to unleash a new website tomorrow morning for the huge zoning code overhaul that's going on. It'll be called Re:Code LA and "will allow Angelenos to stay informed and participate in the process to comprehensively update the City of Los Angeles' zoning laws for the first time since 1946."
