Maroon 5er's Spanish in Los Feliz With Wallace Neff Remodel

New, 47 comments

According to its description, this lovely Spanish in Los Feliz is a "gated, private and secure urban celebrity villa." And according to Blockshopper, the aforementioned celebrity privately and securely ensconced here would be Ryan Dusick, a founding member of the band Maroon 5. Like his bandmate Mickey Madden, owner of Craig Ellwood's Moore House, Mr. Dusick has excellent taste in architecture--per the listing, the 1921 home was restored by the illustrious Wallace Neff. Sited on a 7,831-square-foot lot a few blocks from Griffith Park's Fern Dell entrance, it features four bedrooms, three-and-three-quarters baths, a two-story living room with fireplace, hardwood and tile floors, French doors, "a large outdoor terrace with pergola," and a detached two-car garage. Last sold in 2005 for $1.199 million, it's now asking $1.249 million.
