Polo Lounge Reopens, LA's Best Uni, Ramen Shutter on Sawtelle

New, 2 comments

BEVERLY HILLS: The 73-year-old Polo Lounge, inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, has reopened after a nip and tuck from designer Adam Tihany. The green and white colors remain, but new art, mirrors, lights, fixtures, and furniture were added. The cabanas will be getting an update by summer 2014.

LOS ANGELES: Sea urchin, aka uni, is so big right now that Eater was able to find 13 amazing LA spots to savor it. Sea urchin spaghetti, anyone? How about uni on toast? You'll find it here.

LITTLE OSAKA: Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Jonathan Gold loved it, but that wasn't enough to save Little Osaka's Ramen Jinya, which just shuttered. There may just be too many great ramen joints on this Sawtelle stretch.
