In other houses-not-selling-fast news, TMZ reports that the estate of deceased designer Bijan Pakzad has finally sold for $9.8 million after 10 months on the market. That's well short of it's $12 million asking price. The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom house features "large monochromatic themed rooms," "an exquisite chandelier comprised entirely of Bijan's signature perfume bottles," family room with double-height ceilings, chef's kitchen and breakfast room, office, elevator, and a wetbar in the master suite. *Agent Jade Mills, who *represented the buyer, confirms that the sale just closed today, and that the buyer is a local family. She described the house as "very Bijan fabulous," and thinks the new owners will keep much of its look and feel intact. Who's taking bets that that perfume bottle chandelier survives move-in day?
