Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand from the canceled-but-returning-to-Netflix-on-Sunday show Arrested Development has been popping up for photo ops across the country to promote the new season. But it never made an appearance in its (fictional) home town of Newport Beach, which has made some people sad. Newport's mayor, who calls frozen bananas a "cultural icon," is not giving up: "I would give you the key to the city if you come out and bring the banana stand. Because I can do that." [KPCC]
