Located in the Arbolada neighborhood of Ojai, just down the street from the Wallace Neff designed ranch owned by Reese Witherspoon, this little getaway claims some pedigree as well. Per the listing, the ranch was designed by Fred Moninger and featured in the 1961 edition of Architectural Digest. Mr. Moninger has managed to escape much notice apparently, because this is the only mention we can find of him. The four bedroom, three and one-half bath home is set among the oaks and features a pretty sweet pool. We're recommending some maintenance on that hideous front lawn and maybe some toned down paint colors in those bedrooms, but otherwise it's all about that pool.
