USC professor Josh Kun has compiled the sheet music for loads of obscure songs about Southern California into a new book called Songs in the Key of Los Angeles--readers will discover "Echo Park," "California Polka," "Take Me Out to Venice," and more. The music ranges from the 1840s to the 1950s and much of it has never been recorded. There'll be accompanying live performances this summer. [Eastsider LA, image via]
