Yesterday, via his twitter account, Newscorp Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch announced that he is buying the Moraga estate in Bel Air, previously featured on Curbed. The 13-acre estate includes its own vineyard and was previously owned by Thomas Jones, former CEO of Northrop Corp. Per the tweet: "About to celebrate buying beautiful small vineyard right in LA. Great wine, Moraga, owned by great Angelino, Tom Jones. Time cover,1961!" Per our previous coverage, the property was going for $29.5 million. [Twitter]
