Casa Liberace, the 1926 Palm Springs house where Liberace lived at the end of his life, sold a few years ago (for $1.26 million) and the new owner's been doing quite a bit of work: "It looked like he was tearing it apart," according to one designer/restorer. But now the director/curator of the Palm Springs Historical Society swears that the owner is actually working off of 1920s photos and is bringing the house back to its original state. [Variety]
