Rare Open Apartment in Fabulously Art Deco Los Feliz Manor

New, 54 comments

Hailed as "one of Los Angeles's very effective examples of Art Deco" by David Gebhard and Robert Winter's Architectural Guidebook to Los Angeles, the turquoise-tiled Los Feliz Manor was designed in 1929 by architect Jack Grundfor. Vacancies in the 30-unit building located near the intersection of Los Feliz Boulevard and Vermont Avenue don't come along terribly often, but according to this posting on Westside Rentals, a one-bedroom unit is now available. Per the ad, the third-floor unit is "approximately 800 SF with lots of closet space & built-ins, high open-beam ceilings and original tile." Monthly rent, including utilities and one garaged parking spot, is $1,800.
