And You Get a Toilet! And You Get a Toilet!

New, 20 comments

The City of West Hollywood announced today it's giving away modern, low-flow toilets to all residents with bowls installed before 1992 that use 3.5 gallons or more per flush. Partnering with the West Basin Municipal Water District, WeHo will give away the toilets on May 11 and asks only that you return your old toilet to them, so they can be ground up and used as road material (the metal will be recycled). The free toilets are high-efficiency models from Western Pottery that only use 1.28 gallons per flush. [WaterPrograms.com]
