Seattle City Council members are considering creating a smaller, Seattle-ier version of LA Live up north, so they came to town to check out the original. What did they make of it? One "was struck by the way the L.A. Live development transformed a formerly crime-ridden and depressed area," though "he'd like to see any Seattle version tone down the glitz and include local businesses."
