Last time LA Live (and probably-failed Downtown NFL stadium) developer AEG bid to run the LA Convention Center, they chose to not disclose pretty much any relevant financial data and the city attorney was like "that is not acceptable." But knocking out AEG brings the number of bidders down to just one, so today an LA City Council Committee voted to start the process all over again and give AEG a second chance. [LAT]
