[First time on the market, mid-mod asking $2.4 million in Westwood]
This Week's Top Stories: Uh-oh. Bubble talk has re-entered the conversation regarding LA's booming housing market. But let's not dwell on that too much, because more of those adorable little small-lot subdivision homes are selling at a premium in Hollywood. Get one before they're gone! New renderings of the big glassy ball attached to the May Co Building for a future Academy Museum of Motion Pictures have been released. Renderings have also been released of two very non-offensive (read: not very exciting) 6-story luxury apartment buildings planned for the middle of Hollywood. More exciting news for Downtown, as the Downtown News reports that an Alamo Drafthouse Theater will open next to the Medallion project on Main Street. A massively hideous abode in Glendora has popped back onto the market after failing to find a buyer with exquisitely poor taste during its first go around on the market. A pilot program putting a roving party bus/entertainment shuttle/vomit comet on the streets of West Hollywood has been given the go ahead, and should start careening down the streets this summer.
