Will a $9.5 million price chop help Guess? cofounder Armand Marciano sell his 30,000-square-foot Benedict Canyon estate? The seven-bedroom, 13-bath house sited on nearly 20 acres, with mosaic-tiled pool, tennis court, orchard, extensive gardens, and "a view to envy," hit the market back in 2011 asking $63 million, but failed to sell. Maybe it's because, per the listing, the property "defies description" and the listing photos don't include any interior shots? Well, if we can't describe at least we can list the estate's features: in addition to all those bed and bathrooms, the house has "9 fireplaces, an elevator, garage & motor court to accommodate 27 cars, staff quarters offering 3 bedrooms & separate full kitchen," plus gym, game room, screening room, and a wine cellar with another dining room. The whole thing can be yours for $54.5 million. Brother and business partner Georges Marciano went through a similarly long, pricechoppy process with his Robert D. Farquhar-designed house; it finally sold to producer Jerry Bruckheimer in May for $23 million.
