LOS ANGELES: House Beautiful brings its annual Chair Chase to Los Angeles tomorrow--they'll place 20 black and white chairs (from American Leather, Crate & Barrel, Room & Board, Target, and on and on) "in iconic locations" all over Los Angeles, and if you can find 'em, you can keep 'em. Follow @housebeautiful for clues on where to look. [Curbed Inbox]
HOLLYWOOD: Hollywood Central Park, the plan to cap the 101 Freeway through Hollywood with 44 acres of green space, may be inching along, ever so slowly, but at least it's really and truly moving. The nonprofit overseeing the project has now hired a team to handle the environmental impact report, a mandatory step in the planning process. The LA Business Journal reports (sub. req.) that "The review should begin nearly immediately and be completed within about one year." The Aileen Getty Foundation very wonderfully donated a big chunk of money for the EIR last year. [LABJ]
